REALLY?!

Stokemeter.com web cast

March 19th, 2009 admin

i just did a rad web cast with stokemeter.com where fans type in questions and i respond via video chat. that way everyone can see what the other people are asking and everyone can watch and hear my responses in real time. its a pretty rad concept that i think i will be doing more frequently.

this is what it looked like.

GEEEESH

I have had a busy couple of weeks. unfortunately i have broken another camera and i have not gotten a new one yet. currently i am posting up at my girlfriends apartment poolside, out here in california. cat is sleeping since she had a early morning shoot at the “E entertainment” studios this morning for a skit that will be on tonights “VS” show. its on one of those sport networks that im not to familiar with but if you know what im talking about check it out tonight. she is the cute office girl selecting North Carolina as her pick for the final four.

anyway, i have finally gotten the itch back to start riding again and have been shooting a couple times with photographers jason lee and spencer smith. jeff mckee, robbie jaques, and myself have shot with jason a couple times and we have gotten some pretty rad shots which you all will hopefully be seeing in the mags sometime soon. spencer came out to shoot me one afternoon for an instructional that you all will be seeing in wakeboarding magazine. im stoked to be feeling the itch again after a long unmotivated winter. i have started riding without my knee brace and have been charging some tricks back out into the flats. which is the only way i enjoy riding. this past fall i got super over riding since i had only been riding wake to wake since i was still coming off of my newly rebuilt left knee. so after riding like that for so long my mind and body i guess sort of just forced me to take a break since i wasnt ready to go back into the flats and i was sick of riding wake to wake, it was pretty depressing. but now that it is warming up down in orlando i have been getting that early spring itch to get back out on the water and get my “A game” back as well as begin to learn some new tricks.

i have been filming with ronnie ramero for his new movie that will be releasing this spring/early summer called global warning. ronnie and i first started filming this past fall, just before i took my break, so we have some wake to wake stuff and some filler stuff but no solid hammers yet which i am hoping to get in the next couple months. ive definitely got some work to do in order to make this section as good or hopefully better to my last section from push process. as long as my mental state and physical state (meaning no injuries) stays where it is i think i will be ok.

now for the purchase of a new digital camera. hopefully i can make up my mind and just get one in order to start taking some pictures to start putting them up on here. things are about to start happening a lot quicker now that spring is just about to be in full swing. ive got a pretty stacked april coming up, ive got 2 contests in orlando, a week long film/photo shoot in texas with wakeboard mag and fuel tv that woly board shop is setting up, and a week long film shoot in orlando for global warning.

i got to go ride with Randall and Melissa Marquart yesterday back down at lake elsinore. cat got a good shot of me with her digy cam a big ole stalefish out into the flats.
